Everything in the room was exceptionally clean and in good condition. Friendly staff. Good TV with lots of cable channels and quality remote control. Small charging station on nightstand with 3 electric outlets and 2 charger slots to charge devices. Alarm clock also had 2 charger slots. Comfortable bed and bedding. Floor-to-ceiling window (could see the full moon!). No weird smells. Nice mini fridge. Elevator, plus stairs at exits. Great coffee in lobby. Free snack bag (banana, chocolate chip muffins, granola bar, water). Quiet, clean property. Nicely tiled walk-in shower and good water pressure. I like the little info cards around the room telling you where things are and “what to do if….” Convenient location. Plenty of parking near entrance. I have stayed at most of the inexpensive shoreline hotels and EconoLodge was by far the cleanest and best value, and nicest staff. I will definitely stay here again!

It was quiet, decently clean, and comfortable. I like the bed, and my dogs had a comfortable stay. There was coffee and breakfast bags, both were pretty decent.

I had reservations through Booking.com that never showed up at the Lodge but I loved that the lady behind the desk put in the time and found the reservation and honored the price of the suite.

We were attending a 4:30 wedding nearby. Staff was able to provide us with early check in and adjoining rooms.. Very pleasant and accommodating motel, rooms were clean, bedding comfortable. VERY CONVENIENT

We have stayed here more than once. Love it in the summer. My kids love coming here because of the pool. This stay was very nice even without the pool. Very quiet and relaxing. Have our summer trip already booked 🙂 The only thing missing was a bathtub. We had only a shower in room.

No shampoo or conditioner, 1 bar of soap, 1 large towel ( needed 2 min) very skinny pillows, good matress.. very nice man as staff, very friendly...

Old motel that has been completely updated and modernized. Quiet location. Close to shopping and dining. Close to I-95 exit. Reasonably close to downtown Old Saybrook and other local attractions.
